Irish DeMent

CHOROUS:
Everybody is wonderin' what and where they all came from
Everybody is worryin' 'bout where they gonna go
When the whole thing's done
But no one knows for certain
And so it's all the same to me
I think I'll just let the mystery be

Some say once gone you're gone forever
And some say you're gonna come back
Some say you rest in the arm of the Savior
If in sinful ways you lack
Some say that they're comin' back in the garden
Bunch of carrots and little sweet peas
I think I'll let the mystery be

CHORUS

Some say they're going to place called Glory
And I ain't sayin' it ain't a fact
But I've heard that I'm on the road to purgatory
And I don't like the sound of that
I believe int love and I live my life accordingly
But i choose to let the mystery be

CHOROUS

Thoughts of Wise and Famous People

DISRAELI said - "Where knowledge ends, religion begins."

Napoleon said, "Religion is excellent stuff for keeping the common people quiet." He knew from the Roman era that to keep the common people quiet, it is required to give them BREAD + THE CIRCUS. If this is the equation required by the ruling class then religion must be part of the circus along with sports, TV, travel, theater, etc.

Thomas Jefferson said, "Religions are all alike - founded upon fables and mythologies.

Bruce Calvert said, "Believing is easier than thinking hence so many more believers than thinkers."

If we understand that all religions are all under the same CIRCUS TENT and used by the ruling class to keep us under control then we shouldn't have all the stress between faiths that acts worse than ferocious beasts.

Adopt John Lennon's - "Imagine there is no heaven. It's easy if you try. No hell below us. Above us only sky."
